Taking children from their parents is inhumane and wrong. Refusing asylum status for those fleeing domestic violence puts survivors at risk. Making immigrants or even American citizens of Latino ancestry afraid to come forward to seek help when they're in a DV situation for fear of repercussions makes vulnerable people even more vulnerable.
