Empowerment Manager (Full-Time)

AWP’s Empowerment Program Manager is primarily responsible for helping AWP to achieve its mission by designing, implementing, and managing Empowerment Programming for survivors of domestic violence, those affected by domestic violence, and those at elevated risk for victimization. Empowerment Programs help survivors and those affected by or at risk for domestic violence by promoting skill development, resilience, community engagement, and supportive, healthy relationships. The Empowerment Program Manager works closely with all members of the Education & Training team and AWP’s leadership to implement programs that positively impact AWP clients and to educate and engage the community at large around this important issue.  This is a full-time position, with an expectation of travel to partner sites, on-site work days, as well as occasional work-from-home opportunities.  For interested applicants, please email a cover letter and resume to Education Director, Sarah Janicki at SJanicki@awomansplace.org.  

Victim Response Advocate (full-time)

Resident Counseling Advocate (part-time)

A Woman’s Place is seeking a passionate individual to join our Safe House team and the movement of ending intimate and domestic violence for all. The Resident Counseling Advocate works within AWP’s emergency safe house, assisting survivors of domestic violence in achieving safety and self-sufficiency. The open position consists of the following schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12am-8am. Children's Advocate (Part-Time)

AWP's part-time Children's Advocate will provide emotional support and advocacy to children who are impacted by domestic violence. This position will focus on the families in need in lower bucks county. The position will consist of 20 hours a week and require evening availability to meet the needs of the school aged children.
