Day of Service / Community Service
A Woman’s Place has been so fortunate to benefit from the generous service hours of several individual and community partners over the years. If you are interested in exploring opportunities to complete mandatory community service hours (i.e. court-ordered, academic requirement, etc.) at A Woman’s Place, please click HERE to complete our Community Service Application, and AWP staff will follow-up with you shortly.
If you are interested in completing a Group Service Project at AWP, unfortunately we do not have any project opportunities available at this time. However, we would greatly appreciate your group’s support in other ways:
- A Wish List Donation Drive! Please click HERE to see what items you and your group can collect to benefit our clients and their children.
- Invite AWP community educators to visit your organization or business. With this program, completely free to you, AWP community educators can customize their curriculum/program to your particular needs, whether it's teaching your group about domestic violence in general, or helping train your staff/members to become better allies to those experiencing abuse, we can help! There is no group too large or too small. Contact Director of Advocacy and Outreach Jen Hinds to get started.
