Day of Service
A Woman’s Place welcomes the generosity of the community in many ways. A Day of Service provide groups (community and corporate) an opportunity to give back to the community and enhance the work of A Woman’s Place by performing a negotiated task for AWP.
Examples of how groups have helped A Woman’s Place through A Day of Service are:
- Painting
- Cleaning
- Organizing Pantries
- Gardening
- Decorating for the Holidays
- Assembling holiday boxes
- Processing and storing donations
