Domestic Violence Awareness Month
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Check out this page to stay up to date with everything we're doing.
On Tuesday, October 4th we held our annual Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil where we remember those lost to domestic violence and honor the survivors. We had an amazing, supportive community come out with us that night to Quakertown Train Station. You can click the picture to see more from the vigil.
For the first time, this Domestic Violence Awareness Month we "painted the town purple" tying purple ribbons all throughout the towns of Doylestown, Quakertown, and Bristol. With the help of some fantastic volunteers these were all an amazing success. Click the photo to see more from the event!
This October, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are interviewing members of the community and asking them what they do to help end domestic violence and why saying NO MORE is important to them. A different person every day of the month will tell their stories as we all reflect on what we do in our own lives to help end domestic violence.
If you want to see the rest of the NO MORE videos check out our YouTube channel here.
