Domestic Violence Awareness Month
We'd like to thank everyone who was involved in our 2016 Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Keep the conversation going to help us end domestic violence and provide resources for its survivors.
On Tuesday, October 4th we held our annual Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil where we remember those lost to domestic violence and honor the survivors. We had an amazing, supportive community come out with us that night to Quakertown Train Station. You can click the picture to see more from the vigil.
For the first time, this Domestic Violence Awareness Month we "painted the town purple" tying purple ribbons all throughout the towns of Doylestown, Quakertown, and Bristol. With the help of some fantastic volunteers these were all an amazing success. Click the photo to see more from the event!
This October, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we interviewed members of the community and asked them what they do to help end domestic violence and why saying NO MORE is important to them. A different person every day of the month told their stories as we all reflected on what we do in our own lives to help end domestic violence. The ending compilation video is below.
