Dear ________________,

I am writing today to ask for your support of victims of domestic violence in your district. I am sure that every day you have a multitude of bills crossing your desk, but I ask you to pay specific attention to those pertaining to domestic violence.

Domestic violence is a serious issue and I hope that you will support legislation that develops innovative programs to ensure that victims of domestic violence and their children can sustain safe housing, have better access to public benefits, receive legal assistance, and provide a safe workplace. I also hope you will support successful programs that further the safety and stability of the lives of survivors of domestic violence. As a supporter of A Woman's Place, an organization dedicated to prevention education, safe options, and empowerment, and as a constituent of yours, I urge you to support these important pieces of legislation. I look forward to your response and your position on this issue and how you will vote on them .

Sincerely,
