Candlelight Vigil

Wed. Oct 12. at 7 pm - Annual Candlelight Vigil with Bucks Country District Attorney Matthew Weintraub remembering the survivors of lives lost to domestic violence. This does not have to be this way with DV Awareness month and every day.

During the month of October, these events will be happening to benefit AWP:

Showcase your pet with a purple bandana and post using the hashtag: #pawstoendDV. Purple bandanas will be available for only $2.00 at AWP’s store, In Full Swing (225 W. State St, Doylestown PA).

·       All Month Long – Enjoy treats at Lucky Cupcake Company (29 Peddlers Village, Lahaska) and visit Lahaska Bookshop (162 Peddler’s Village) as their funds help AWP.

·       Sat. Oct 1. 11AM to 10PM – The Fight for Tomorrow Martial Arts Academy (242 Wood Street, Doylestown) will be hosting a Thon fundraiser with their students

·       Mon. Oct 10 -  Dine or order out at Lovebird (19 E. Oakland Ave., Doylestown) as 15% of all sales will be donated from 4 PM to 8:30 PM in all locations!

·       Tues, Oct 11 - OwowCow Ice Cream (101 N. Main St., Chalfont) Dine and Donate. Order their AWP special flavor to donate portions to AWP.

·       Tues. Oct. 18 - Dine or order out at Chipotle Warrington (385 Easton Rd., Warrington) as 33% of all sales will be donated from 4 PM to 8 PM & mention AWP!

·       Thurs Oct. 19- AWP’s Medical Educator is excited to be at the 19th annual William J. Neff, Sr. Symposium on the Prevention of Crimes Against Older Adults, on Thursday, October 20th  at Bucks County Community College at the Newtown campus in the Zlock Performing Arts Center.

·       Fri. Oct 21- New this Year: Funny Fundraiser Night at Comedy Cabaret Comedy Club. Share a fun night out with friends & family for a good cause! The location is at Poco's Restaurant 625 North Main Street, Doylestown PA 18901. Purchase group and/or individual tickets ($25 each) to benefit AWP here.
