Say Know More
Launched in October 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, "Say Know More" is AWP's web series that provides audiences with opportunities for connection, conversation, and education - all in a safe, virtual platform. Hosts and AWP Educators, Rachele & Lark, meet with guests every month on Facebook Live to discuss topics that range from:
- understanding the impact that domestic violence (DV) has on survivors, families, communities, and our society at large
- recognizing the warning signs or "red flags" of DV
- supporting survivors in a nonjudgmental, empowering manner
- helping a friend or loved one who is currently experiencing abuse
- connecting others with AWP and joining us in our mission
- examining how DV intersects with other public health & social justice issues, such as racial justice, mental health, the COVID-19 pandemic, income inequality, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive health, and more...
- preventing future violence and creating lasting social change in Bucks County and beyond
